Your Tasks

  • Interface function between VIG's insurance companies (Austria and CEE) and VIG IT
  • Consolidation, prioritisation, and management of IT initiatives (demands & projects)
  • Supporting departments and IT in the creation, planning, and commissioning of demands & projects, as well as conducting quality checks and feasibility analyses
  • Planning, controlling, and reporting on the entire IT portfolio including the corresponding IT budget
  • Planning and managing the deployment of all internal and external IT resources
  • Preparation and facilitation of decision-making meetings at the executive, management, and department head levels
  • Further development of the planning tool Clarity and training of users

Your Profile

  • Completed academic education, preferably with a focus on business or IT
  • Experience in project and portfolio management or in the field of controlling
  • Proficient use of MS Office is required, knowledge of IT tools Clarity, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus
  • Independent work style and a high sense of responsibility
  • Professional demeanor, strong customer and service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, additional CEE languages ​​are advantageous
  • Experience with large and complex IT projects in the banking/insurance sector is advantageous
  • Basic willingness to travel in the CEE region (up to 20%)

The yearly gross salary for this position is € 55,000. You have a lot of experience and know-how? Then we are obviously prepared to honor this with an overpayment.
