Your Tasks

  • Support in shaping and continuously developing the Information Security Strategy
  • IT security consulting, including the development of action plans and monitoring of their implementation for the insurance companies
  • Identification and analysis of security risks, as well as the development of improvements and countermeasures; cooperation with IT Risk Management
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of relevant controls, policies, and procedures across the entire group
  • Active use and enhancement of the group-wide GRC tool, with a focus on the ISMS process
  • Development of proposals for the advancement of group-wide IT security guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and industry-specific standards regarding information security

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Security, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional training, coupled with several years of experience in Information Security
  • Solid understanding of IT software, IT infrastructure, network and end-user security, as well as solutions for threat protection
  • Extensive experience in the focal areas of governance and strategy within the context of Information Security
  • Profound knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks
  • Experience in participating in projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary and multinational teams
  • Ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of IT systems and uncover vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure
  • Expertise in Information Security Management Systems; Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001 ISMS Manager & Auditor, CISA, CISM) would be advantageous
  • Knowledge in the insurance industry or regulated sectors is beneficial
  • Structured and team-oriented work approach with high self-initiative and flexibility, as well as a hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English; additional proficiency in a CEE language is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel in CEE-Region (approx. 25%)

The annual gross salary (full-time) for the position is at least € 60,000. Do you have extensive experience and expertise? If so, we're happy to offer a salary above this amount in recognition of your qualifications.
