Your Tasks

  • Act as a security consultant for local entities, advising on effective mitigation strategies and security best practices
  • Provide expert guidance on IT infrastructure, network security, and end-user security solutions tailored to the needs of VIG Group companies
  • Collaborate closely with Service Owners and Group Competence Centers (GCCs) to design and enhance Cyber Defense Center (CDC) services and processes
  • Take ownership of group-wide security and infrastructure projects, driving them to successful implementation
  • Develop, refine, and maintain security processes, guidelines, and documentation to uphold and advance group standard

Your Profile

  • Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in IT security services, with a strong focus on operational support and implementation
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, network security, and end-user security.
  • Solid understanding of ITSM (IT Service Management) processes
  • Experience in the insurance sector or other regulated industries is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German is advantageous, and knowledge of additional CEE languages is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel in CEE-Region (approx. 20%)

The salary for this position is at least € 60,000. You have a lot of experience and know-how? Then we are obviously prepared to honor this with an overpayment.
