Your Tasks

  • Proactively researching, analysing and preparing regulatory and legal developments at European and international level, particularly in the areas of financial services and sustainability
  • Supporting the development of Group positions on European issues relating to VIG's business model, structure and strategy
  • Supporting the communication with European institutions, supervisory authorities and insurance associations (consultations, working groups, studies, conferences, etc.)
  • Preparation of topics for internal target groups (Managing Board, Group companies, etc.)

Your Profile

  • Completed studies (law, economics and law, or similar), specialisation in European or insurance law an advantage
  • Professional experience in interest representation, legislation or in the insurance or financial services sector is an advantage
  • Affinity for European policy
  • Analytical and integrative thinking, as well as a high level of problem-solving skills
  • Self-initiative, flexible, cooperative and interdisciplinary working style
  • Strong ability to independently grasp and structure complex content and contexts and to prepare them for the target group
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 138.19 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full-time position is a maternity leave replacement.
